Lessons
Slide-based lessons with content, activities, and games — progress through each slide and earn XP as you go.
What is a lesson?
Lessons are slide-based. Your teacher presents them in class or you can go through them independently. Each lesson is made up of a sequence of slides — content slides to read, activity slides to complete, and sometimes game slides for practice.

Navigating slides
Next slide
Click the forward arrow or press the right arrow key to advance to the next slide.
Previous slide
Click the back arrow to return to the previous slide.
Slide dots
Small dots at the bottom show how many slides are in the lesson and which one you are on. Click any dot to jump to that slide.
Slide lock
When your teacher is presenting, slides may be locked to the teacher's current position. You can't jump ahead during a live lesson.
ℹ️ Note
When your teacher is presenting a live lesson, they control which slide is shown. You can follow along on your device — but you may not be able to jump to a different slide until the teacher unlocks free navigation.
Slide types
Every lesson contains a mix of slide types:
Intro / Title
Opening slide with the lesson title, objectives, and what you will learn.
Hook
A thought-provoking question or scenario to get you thinking before the content begins.
Content
The main teaching slide — text, images, diagrams, and explanations.
Activity
An interactive question or task for you to complete. Earns XP.
Game
A quick game (e.g. Rapid Quiz, Word Snake, Tetris) tied to lesson content.
Summary
Key takeaways from the lesson listed as bullet points.
Activity slides

Activity slides ask you to do something — answer a question, match terms, fill in blanks, or complete a task. There are many activity types:

💡 Pro Tip
You earn XP for completing activity slides. Even if you get the answer wrong, submitting your attempt still counts toward lesson completion.
Game slides
Some lessons include a built-in game slide — usually near the end as a fun way to reinforce what you just learned. Games are fully playable inside the lesson:
Rapid Quiz
Fast True/False or multiple choice questions. Answer quickly for bonus points.
Word Snake
Guide the snake to collect correct words or terms from the lesson.
Space Invaders
Shoot the correct answers as they come down the screen.
Tetris
Tetris-style puzzle with lesson vocabulary.
Spell Caster
Type the correct spelling of key terms to cast spells.
Math Blaster
Solve maths problems to blast targets — for maths-based courses.
Progress and XP
A lesson is marked as complete once you have viewed all slides. XP is awarded as you go — each activity slide that you complete awards the XP value set by your teacher. Your progress is saved automatically so if you leave mid-lesson, you can return and continue from where you left off.
ℹ️ Note
Your teacher can see which slides you have viewed and which activities you have completed. If a lesson has required activities, make sure you submit an answer even if you are not sure — partial completion still shows your engagement.
